About Me.

Much to my (and maybe your) surprise, digital design wasn’t always in my thoughts as a future career. But funnily enough, I have always been drawn to it and have yet to find a career path I enjoy more. I enjoyed analyzing and deciphering professional websites, and when I came across an outdated site, I would imagine all the ways I could improve and update it given the opportunity. A few years after graduating, it became clear to me that one way or another, I wanted to work for myself and build a flexible career for myself. I invested in hobbies I enjoyed, and even had a small at home bakery for a time until I realized the thing I enjoyed most about it wasn’t the baking, but the parts where I got to sit down and create an online identity for myself and my business through cards, websites, social media posts, and logos.

It became clear to me very quickly after that, that I had already found what my passion was a long time ago. And as I continue to grow and learn, I have enjoyed the knowledge and spirit of the businesses I have created for. Maine has such an interesting culture around small businesses, and whether you’re an old age mom and pop store who wants to gain some online recognition, or a younger entrepreneur like me who wants to put their best foot forward, I will always be excited to see what you bring to the table. Making connections with these local businesses has been a pleasant and unexpected pleasure, and there truly is nothing else like the drive that Maine business have.

I was born and raised in Downeast Maine, and I spend the time I am not creating websites for amazing Maine businesses, with my boyfriend Shaun, and our dog Oliver. They love the outdoors even more than I do, and while they are out hiking in Acadia, I am at home knitting and reading. On top of that, I am currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in professional communication and journalism at University of Maine Presque Isle.
